Please help, I have a rehearsal this evening gut every time I swipe a page or try to add an annotation it just closes the app down...

That is extremely strange - is this happening with every PDF you've tested with? If so, please go to Settings->About and verify you are running version 3.9.17. If you are not running version 3.9.17, please open the Google Play Store app, search for MobileSheets and tap the update button on the store page to get the latest update.
