I scanned some music using the camera.

Now when I display scores the camera active green dot is displayed in right hand corner.

Face gestures is off.

Is this expected behaviour?

Edit: while typing this I decided to close the app and reopen, camera is not in use anymore.

Interesting... turning off the face gestures should have stopped the camera from being in use. I'll have to test this to see if I can reproduce it.

Probably not related but I had a spate of "camera not available" or "MS needs camera" messages (exact message unknown) when a song displayed. I think this message appeared before any interactions with the displayed page

Face Gestures (once enabled) is no longer used.

Finally traced it to having a touch action set to "Enable/Disable Face Gestures". Removed this and problem has disappeared.

I think MS was behaving as it should but the displayed message was misleading - if it had mentioned Face Gestures then I would have known where to look rather than thinking MS now needed access to the camera.

Was it a popup message? Or a dialog that you had to dismiss? I'm looking into that code and just want to make sure I edit the correct thing.
