It was removed as it was causing significant issues for many users that enabled it. There seemed to be no demand for having that option.

It's been years since it was removed and not a single post was made to ask for it back and I did not get a single email about it (whereas I got far more emails about users that encountered problems due to it being switched on). If there is enough demand, yes, I will consider adding it back, but users either turn on settings they don't understand all the time, or settings can be changed randomly under certain scenarios (users have reported this after updating the Android version in rare situations). I don't like dealing with those extra customer support requests, as I'm already spending a significant amount of my time handling customer support, so I don't generally add back problematic settings/features unless there is demand beyond a single individual. I know that's not the answer you want to hear, but I have to realistic about it, as I can't respond to every individual feature request.

Thanks for your hard work.
My opinion: Don't add it again.
IMHO the MS device is the command center, so MIDI commands start here and go to other devices.
It would be easy to create a MIDI loop.
There is some need of remote control, mostly page turn and audio player.
Yes, MIDI In. But this is a one way communication too.
