1. Assign Custom Annotation Style Presets to Each Layer (Color, Thickness, Line Type, etc.)
While the current layer system helps with organization, it would be even more powerful if users could configure a preset of custom annotation styles for each layer.
If each layer automatically applied the style assigned by the user when active, users wouldn’t need to manually reconfigure tools each time. Ideally, users could set these layer-style presets per score, or globally across all scores (as an optional behavior).
2. Enable Undo Functionality Outside of Annotate Mode
Currently, the Undo/Redo functionality is only available within Annotate Mode. Once the mode is exited, it's no longer possible to undo the last annotation or change, even if the user immediately realizes a mistake.
It would be incredibly helpful if some form of global or recently-used undo could be available outside Annotate Mode—at least for a limited set of recent actions. This would reduce friction and improve recovery from minor errors without needing to re-enter annotation mode.
