I know with mobile sheets companion you can convert pdf's to images, but I really do prefer pdf's. Is there a way to do the opposite within the mobile sheets program or companion?

There is no support in MobileSheets for converting images to PDFs. If this is something people need, I can definitely look into adding support for this in a future update.
