It's a problem with the database. What's happening is the companion is not receiving the storage directory from the tablet correctly, so when it goes to write the file paths into the database, it writes invalid file paths. I have error checking code on the tablet that says, "Hey, you sent me invalid file paths, so I'm going to go ahead and write these to the storage directory where they belong". The problem is that creates a mismatch between where the database says the files should be, and where they are really written to. I can try to put a band-aid in the code to fix this problem, but that's not addressing the real problem which is that the companion is not receiving the path from the tablet. I'm just trying every test I can think of to see if I can reproduce that error, and I'm failing.
Are you testing on Windows 7, 8, or XP with the companion app?
Thanks,
Mike
