Are there still problems after upgrading from ver 4.4? I really don't want to lose using my external card or develop other problems.

I think you should be perfectly safe to upgrade. One thing you might have to address if you upgrade to Android 6.0 is that the path to the external SD card will change, so you'll have to use the utility in MobileSheetsPro to fix the file paths in the database.
