Mike, can you control the pop-up of the virtual keyboard that it only appears if I actually tap into a text field for input? More often as not it appears when I only want to select or open an item from a list and mostly I have to close it to get to the item the keyboard is covering (for instance the letter bar or anything else at the bottom of the screen).
