A always got a "Java.io.IOException: read failed: EIO (I/O error)" and the backup crashed. I cannot finde the reason. Do you have an idea?

A couple of questions:
1) About how large is your library? Do you think you have more than 4 GB of files?
2) What destination did you select for the backup file? I want to verify it's a not a read-only directory.
3) Does the error happen immediately, or only after some amount of processing?

I encountered a this error also. The complaint was about an error during a read. When I tried syncing my library to a file, I found errors also - but was able to identify the problem files. About 10 of my 1042 files were corrupt in some unknown way. When I deleted these songs, I was able to backup successfully.
