I have tried to use this by selecting the setting in display settings, but nothing seems to happen. I am expecting two songs to be displayed side by side. How do I identify the songs.

Not sure what you've tried. 2 page mode iin general is meant for 2 pages of the same song. I suppose you can put 2 songs in a setlist if they are 1 page each, load it and have them displayed as I think you want.

Extract from manual: If this setting is enabled, two different songs will never be shown at the same
time when using the two page display mode. This means if a three page song
is shown, followed by a two page song, page three of the first song will not
be shown at the same time as page one of the second song. This means that
sometimes a single page will be displayed if necessary.
Ive just realised that I didnt see the word 'never' in the above extract. If you remove 'never' the whole meaning is changed!
The question I posed is therefore irrelevant and can be ignored.

Try the setlist thing I mentioned with 1pagers if you really need it.
