Hi all,


I have just joined and wanted to ask for advice with MIDI.
The goal is to use a Roland Octapad II (the old one) connected via USB MIDI cable to a WIN 11 Laptop to (for now) just turn pages in the sheets.
MIDI connection in general is working, as I am using the pad to trigger sounds in Ableton. In MobileSheets however i do not seem to get a connection.
I see the MIDI device and can select it, but it does not show as connected and MobileSheets does not seem to receive any MIDI.

Receiving Channel is set to all.
I do not seem to get it connected somehow. Does someone have any ideas what to try or test?

Hi all,

quick update, I got it working now.
After additional searches I learned that in Windows it is only possible for 1 app the same time to listen to MIDI.
So I will try it again with duplicating the signal in a virtual MIDI interface to have ableton and MobileSheets listening at the same time to one controller.

Great job on figuring that out. Hopefully things will work well using virtual MIDI ports.
