If I want to go back to an earlier backup I imagine this backup once restored would rep lace my existing library? Also if I email my backup to friend with no existing songs then my backup on his tablet would be an exact clone of mine?

Yes, it will replace your existing library. Also, yes, he will have an exact clone of yours.

The imported back up does not load all song. Any ideas.

I removed a fakebook from the song list and it now works fine and loads all songs.
