Hello,
Does anyone use this tablet?
I am having a tough time finding a large (13.3 is deal, I think) inexpensive Android Tablet. (Evoo 13.3 would have been close to perfect, but it does not seem to work with bluetooth page turners).
The big weakness with this Supersonic tablet is the (small) 8gb memory.
So, my big questions is whether using an SD Card (32GB) fixes that? Or, am I asking for a headache.
Thanks,
Jeff

All these inexpensive 13.3 "large" Android tablets coming from Gina are 16:9 ratio which are actually smaller compared to 3:2 ratio on 12.3 screen.
As mentioned in the other posts Bluetooth chips are often crippled and battery sucks.

Thanks for responding.
I have been happy with my (reasonably priced) Nuvision 13.3 tablet(s). But I am looking to a future tablet with at least 32 gb storage and a more updated Android OS.
Aside from Samsung (not cheap), I don't see many 12.3 screen Androids either.
It looks like you have to go down to 11.6 (if not 10.1) to find a lot of options.
I'll keep looking.

Couple of things on larger tablets, just to keep this thread fresh. Amazon currently has
refurb ONN 11.6" tabs for $65 which is a pretty good deal. Personally, I use a 12.9" iPad, but I also manage about 3 dozen "community-use" Android tablets for our church music program. Most of them are 11.6" RCA units, but I'm always looking for the next low-cost tablet. I've found that 11.6" is pretty much the "sweet spot" in terms of usable size vs. overall cost, and if I can find 11.6" for less than $80, that's a decent buy -- makes them cheap enough that I don't mind tossing one if it has problems beyond a bad battery (which is easy to replace).
I do have an old 13" Supersonic SC-813 that runs Android 6.0.1 and only has 4GB internal memory. Haven't been able to use it for quite awhile because it started crashing while trying to update the Google app -- seen this problem with other Android 6 tablets too, even with more memory. But I kept putzing with it, since I just can't bring myself to toss out such a nice big screen. I finally got it working again:
- full factory reset
- on first boot, before activating WiFi, force-stop and disable the Google app and the Gmail app
- uninstall any apps you can (Facebook was the only one on mine)
- add an 8GB (or larger) MicroSD, formatted as internal storage (not removable storage), and let the tablet move anything it can to the SD card
- enable WiFi and let it do all of its PlayStore updates (don't stare at it; go do something productive)
- install MobileSheets and import some songs, check to make sure MS data is going onto the SD card (it should automatically, but you might have to move it using MS "Storage" preferences or the Android "Migrate" function)
This procedure might work with other older tablets, the main trick is disabling the Google app and adding the extra storage. I disabled Gmail too, because it seemed to help on this tablet. The thing still runs slow, but it's fine for sheet music display. Format your PDFs for A4 paper size to make better use of the 16:9 ratio.
