Lowered resolution in vertical scrolling mode
#1
Hi.

I am using pro version of app. When switching to vertical scrolling mode (the most useful to me) the resolution of the pdf page is lowered significantly. I wonder if there is a solution for that.

Thanks in advance.

The resolution of the PDF page definitely should not change when switching display modes. If you are zoomed in at all, you can tap in the center of the screen to bring up the song overlay, tap the display options icon at the bottom left (looks like a gallery icon), tap Zoom/Pan Settings, and check "Enable high-quality zooming". That will result in higher quality images, but slows down processing when zooming in and out, so I would not recommend doing that if you frequently zoom in and out a lot.

What display mode were you using before switching to the vertical scrolling display mode?

Tried that still no improvement.

Adding two screenshots to show you. The difference is significant. Vertical mode is very blurry.

Nevermind, selecting "fit to width" instead the default "fit to screen" fixed it.

I'm not sure why that would have an impact on the image quality though, as it seemed like the document was still limited by the width of the device. That's very strange... I've never seen a drop in quality like that just from switching display modes unless you had pinch zoomed in using the vertical scrolling display mode.
