MSP on Portable Monitors
#1
I've seen several battery-powered (or USB-C) powered portable monitors lately. I've been wondering if pairing a tablet with a similarly sized portable monitor might provide a less expensive option for displaying two pages (or more) than a pair of linked tablets. I imagine that a touch sensitive monitor would not be required because all the annotations, taps, etc. could be done on the tablet.

The main issues that I see so far (as far as MSP is concerned):
- Dealing with two page mode so single page songs don't get split between the screens
- Dealing with different screen resolutions
- Does the external display show the left or right page

Thus far I have tried extending the app window between two screens (two monitors with the exact same resolution). It worked great for two page display, though for single pages half of the page was on each screen. I may do some more experimenting just to see what I can get MSP to do as it is. If I can find a screen that closely matches my tablet screen I may buy it, just to try it out.

Has anyone else tried this out?
