MobileSheets version 3.8.16 for Android has been released and is now available. Version 3.8.16 for Windows is currently awaiting approval through the Microsoft Store but should be available early this week. This update (along with the changes in v3.8.15) contains some significant changes including a completely redesigned page ordering user interface along with more options for file management including the ability to combine files, convert files to PDF directly, or rename files all in the song editor. The new page ordering interface provides thumbnails that can be dragged and dropped to reorder pages, and the page order string will be updated dynamically to show the changes. Users can easily duplicate or remove pages, and you can now insert blank pages, templates, or other files into PDFs. There is also a new option to save the modified page order as a new PDF to simplify complex page orderings and also allow modifications to duplicated PDF pages (which is important when embedding annotations or using the annotation snipping tool). For users that want to make quick changes, you can also now long press the page order field to directly enter the new page order with the keyboard, which is nice for minor changes.
While I would have liked to release this update on all platforms at the same time, there is currently a delay with the iPadOS version due to crashes that have been identified with the PDF library that MobileSheets uses. As soon as these issues are addressed by the company that makes the PDF library, I will release this update for the iPad. These crashes may be related to MacOS updates, XCode updates (the development tool used for Apple applications), or iPadOS 17 - it has been difficult to determine the underlying cause. The PDF crashes are not present in version 3.8.14 of MobileSheets though. I will post more information on this once I know more.
The full list of changes can be seen below:
