If you've updated the firmware on the pedal to the latest and switched the pedal to mode 3, then in theory you should be able to pair the pedal with the device and start using it in MobileSheets. If this doesn't work, then the pedal just isn't communicating with your particular device. In that case, it wouldn't matter what software application you use - the pedal will not work. You can verify this by just opening a web browser with a scrollable page and pressing a pedal switch with the tablet in mode 3. This will send a page up/page down command, so if the pedal is working correctly, the web page will scroll. If this doesn't work, you can either contact AirTurn to see if they have any recommendations, or return the pedal and go with another brand like PageFlip.

I recently purchased a Duo 500 for testing to see if I could reproduce what other users have described, but the pedal worked in every mode I tested right out of the box on my Samsung Tab S4. So I'm still not sure why some users are encountering issues.

I have a different but related problem: I'm using two samsung tablets at a time. I created a group and was able swipe the leader tablet and it will turn pages on both tablets. An older Donner bluetooth pedal does the same. I decided to try the Airturn BT-500 and can only get it to turn the pages on the leader tablet. I've tried Mode 1 and 2 but no luck. I uninstalled Mobileshseets on the client tablet and reinstalled but still the same results.

That's incredibly strange as there should be no difference between the way pedal actions would be triggered with the Donner pedal vs the BT-500. It may help to reset the pedal actions on both tablets (go to Settings->Touch & Pedal Settings->Pedal Actions, tap the keys field for pedal 1, tap "Clear" then OK, then repeat for the other pedals), then configure the pedal actions on the leader device again. Just tap the keys field, press the left pedal switch, then assign the action for that pedal switch. Repeat with pedal 2 for the other pedal switch. Then test out the "Connect Tablets" feature again to see if it works as you would expect.
