Cheap BT controller
#1
Just for fun, I ordered one of these.

With MSPro, every button I press just calls up annotation mode.

Any ideas?

If you go to Settings->Touch & Pedal Settings->Pedal Actions, tap one of the key fields and press buttons on that, what is reported? MobileSheets currently only responds to key events, so if that thing is triggering things in the OS in a different fashion, then it may not work.

Nothing is reported at all, for whatever key I press.

Please don't spend time on this unless you really want ☺.

For your amusement, this is what getevent returns when I press the 'right' button:

Yeah, I'm really not sure what that thing is doing to drive events in the OS, but it definitely will not work with MobileSheets if it's not just sending simple key press events.

As far as I can find out it generates swipes, not key presses.

In theory I could add actions for swipes in every direction (at 45 degree increments) - would that be sufficient to support all of the different swipes it's generating?

I think adding support for swipes in general would be interesting to more users. I often see new users wondering why they cannot swipe to a next page but need to tap...

Having 8 configurable swipes would be great but don't hurry for me. I bought the controller as a present for a friend of mine and I won't have access to it any more.

You can currently swipe to go to the next page unless you disable swiping in the touch settings. So that's confusing to me that users are saying that... You just can't trigger other features with swiping at the moment. I'll mark this down as an enhancement for the future though.
