I had ad issue with my Android tablet, and had to completely reinstall all apps, among which Mobile Sheets 
As I had done before, I tried to organise Which Tabs and in what order should appear in the main screens of 203 titles from 120 composers.

But no dice, Mobile Sheets (V 3.6.9 ) did not obey the instructions from Mobile Sheets Commander (V 3.1.8 ). The two were said to be compatible.

What can be done about this phenomenon?

The companion app configuration does not change the tablet when it comes to the tabs. You have to configure the tablet separately under Settings->Library Settings->Tab Selection and Order.
