While editing ChordPro files and editing songs in the song editor MSP 1.1.2 crashed and could not be restarted. When I clicked the MSP icon on the display the MSP main window opens for some seconds, then a message "MobileSheetsPro wurde beendet" (from my German Android: "MSP has been closed") and nothing else. There's a "Report" option offering to send some report information to Google and that's it. As PlayStore offered updating to 1.1.3 I updated, the same situation again. Instead of sending the reports to Google I took the screenshot that are attached
@Mike: If you want to analyse the situation I can leave it as it is for a few days and make more screenshots, there's plenty of information in these reports, but I did not find a better way to save it other than opening the preview of the report and make screenshots. So I would need some guidance which parts are helpful for you.
Otherwise I would uninstall MSP and reinstall from scratch. Please let me know how to proceed.
With the option 'page slider visibility' set to 'shown with overlay', the page slider now shows when 'allways displaying title bar', even when the overlay itself is not displayed
After updating MobileSheets (1.0.6 - 1.1.0 - 1.1.1 - 1.1.2) I noticed strange renderings of some, not all of my ChordPro files when the tablet was in landscape orientation, see screenshots. Reset Pan & Zoom did not help. My conclusion was that something had changed with ChordPro rendering after 1.0.6, so I tried to force a new rendering of affected songs. To do that I opened the song editor, went to the "Files" tab, removed the file and added the same file again. When I closed the song editor, I had the well-known black screen with the endlessly rotating circle.
I clicked the back button until MSP closed, after restarting MSP and reopening the song, it was displayed correctly.
This hapened with several songs and running through these steps fixed them
Is there a more convenient way to fix such issues? I would need to step through all my ChordPro files one by one, check which ones are wrong and go through all these steps. Uninstalling and reinstalling MSP propably would also help, I did not try that until now.
In 1.09 there was a fix for possible MSPro instabiliy when connected to a MIDI device.
I never reported this, but before this fix, MSPro would freeze regularly when my keyboard was connected over MIDI, but in an OFF state. (when not playing, but just working on song metadata for example). So I took the habbit of either not connecting or turning the keyboard on. Problem solved [WHITE SMILING FACE]
With the fix in 1.09 however, I retested this and it no longer mattered wheither the keyboard was ON or OFF. Since then I have been using MSPro disregarding the state of the keyboard.
However today with 1.13, the issue reappeared. Repeatedly even.
I may have skipped installing some versions of MSPro between 1.09 and 1.13, so no idea if this is a coincidence or this issue reappearing in 1.13 or in a previous release of MSPro ...
I don't know if there is a way for me to reinstall 1.09, just for the sake of testing this or not?
Sorry but now that I'm using the update just discovered a glitch.
If you want to annotate with the text (typewriter) tool the virtual keyboard is GONE with the wind!
I disconnected the Airturn (bluetooth pedal) and no avail.
Checked that it was there in Google Chrome and it was.
Something is rotten in the State of Denmark.
So at least the program doesn't hang now when using the page slider but it would be nice to have the keyboard and typewriter tool back again (sniff).
The options mention the 'two finger tap' twice. The second one should read 'three finger tap' .Probably copy/paste error.
I noticed that the 'anotate song' option for the 3 finger tap, loads the page that was tapped on, while the same option in the 2 finger tap, always seems to load the first page of the song. Not sure if that is intentional?
Since I have updated Companion to 2.09 I have not been able to back up.
I starts the backup and gets a little under 35% into it. On the computer I get an error: "Mobile sheet has encountered a problem and must close . . . "
On the tablet a get up to "packaging" the song "My Foolish Heart" (I am able to open that song on the tablet without a problem,, so it does not seem corrupted). I think the last song it successfully transferred was Honkey Tonk Woman.
It said it was "packaging" the whole time. Does it always do this?
This has happened several times. I tried restarting the tablet and the computer.
When I have re-started Mobilesheets, I was asked:"The program may have abnormally exited...Would you like to restore when you connect the tablet."
I have always said "no" because I wanted it to start fresh with the database on the tablet.
Hello
Last time I had an occasion to work with MSC pro, and I found some inconvenience.
First thing: there is a lack of any shortcuts lets say for quick editing song record (like Audio, MIDI etc)
Second thing: cursor position during Number editing (MIDI window settings) is localized defaulty before "zero". From my point of view it would be better to have it after "zero" (faster edition of the number) or even better
When you open the window (MIDI setting for the song) there is compulsion to remove "zero" in case to input your own number.
I think that that box should be empty and ready for input the data from keyboard.
I hope you understand what i mean
Kind regards
Pietia from Poland
When I want to change metronome setting count-in bars, I run into the problem that a connected pedal 'steals' the keyboard. Would it be possible to add '+' and '-' buttons to this setting?
