I got a response from that developer. He indicated that the only workaround is for me to add a device filter xml file so that my application can be automatically started when particular USB devices are attached. I can't seem to find a way to filter on just MIDI devices though, and I certainly wouldn't want to try to add a filter for every MIDI device out there, so I'm not sure if that workaround is feasible (I sent the developer another email to see if he knows). I also posted on the Samsung forum just to show my support for something being done to fix this issue.
If I do find a filter that works, would users find it incredibly annoying to have MobileSheetsPro ask if you want to start it every time you connect a MIDI USB device? I'm assuming if MobileSheetsPro is already running that it will just prompt for MobileSheetsPro to be given access to the device (similar to how it already works), but there is a possibility that it could cause the application to restart.
