In the main library screen when you've selected certain lists, like collections, or within a collection, or the songs tab etc., there is an alphabet list selection bar to the right of the screen.

I would love to have this functionality in the Import local file process.  FWIW I manage my files rather than let MS do it, I also run multiple libraries which is why I prefer to manually manage my files.  

When I add a file to a directory location, obviously I need to also import it to the database.  Often I will add several files at once.  The ability to locate a file with the alphabet list, check it, and then use the list to locate the next file would be a convenience when searching through the directory listing.

I know there is a search function, and it is effective, but I think the addition of the alphabet list would make things a little faster and easier for my poor, aging brain...
