No, there's no known issue. It connects to all my devices without issue. Please try rebooting both of the devices and your router to see if that resolves the connection issue. Otherwise you might need to change the Windows firewall settings. If disabling Windows firewall lets the connection through, you can enable it again and then you'll have to make sure you allow the companion app through.
