I'm not surprised by the answer, especially given that it's an iOS app within MacOs.

Unfortunately, minimizing Gig Performer woudn't be the right solution either. I want it to be second in the Z-order.

I will update the software in my brain to remember to always set the correct Z-order before starting a song.
