Well my plan at the moment is still to have a switch library option in the overflow, and the current library will be shown on the popup to select the library to switch to. If you need a more immediate indicator of what library is active, I could always pop up a toast notification when the app is first started to indicate which library is active for users with multiple libraries.

Also, when the new filters UI is in place (the side panel that will be expandable/collapsible), I am not opposed to putting an indicator the top of the panel to indicate the current library.

The search text will remain below the tabs with some of the icons to the right still there as well. A button to the left of the search text will expand the side panel. In the side panel, all of the filter options for all of the supported fields will be displayed in a vertical list. This will avoid the need for the "additional filters" dialog, will give users the ability to remove filters they don't need, and also give users the ability to order the filters as they see fit. The panel will automatically collapse when tapping away from it, or if it is pinned, it will push the library screen over. That's my idea at the moment. I can't support what users have been asking for with the current design, and the added benefit of moving to the side panel is it will free up a small amount of vertical space and make the screen look less cluttered.
