Unable to upload audio
#1
After the recent update to 4.0, I am unable to upload audio (wav files). Any ideas on a fix?

Looks like an oversight with the file filter. In the open file dialog, just tap the file type dropdown at the bottom right and switch it to "All Files (*.*)" and then you should be able to pick your .wav file. I'll fix this for the next update.

On a side note for anyone that reads this thread, I did just find an issue with the iOS version of MobileSheets where you can't add audio files through the companion app, but that will require an update to the iOS version.

I just installed on my Lumi  e-reader version 3.9.1 and also on my W10 PC Mobile Sheets Companion version 4.04.
It looks as if adding audio files is solved, Companion transfers the audio file to my e-reader but the audio file is not vissible. I Tried this several times to make shure that I don't make a mistake.

There was an another thread about this, but the problem occurs if the audio file metadata does not contain an artist. If you enter one, then the problem goes away. I'll get it fixed with version 4.0.5 which I'm planning on releasing today.

In the previous companion version, I was able to drag and drop .wav files directly from the PC. Now, when I attempt that, the new version of companion opens up the "Select the Audio Tracks for the Song" window with options to import "From Tablet" or "From PC." When importing a file through this window, I am able to view the files on my PC (when selecting "All" from the drop down menu), but when I try to "Open" the .wav file, the companion app just goes back to the add file screen.

I'll modify the code with drag & drop to just insert the audio file on the audio tab. There isn't really a reason I need to go through the audio selection dialog for that.

Now the .wav file is showing as uploaded via the companion app, but it is not showing on the tablet once disconnected... Also, on a possibly unrelated note, the "tempo" information is defaulting to 10 and there doesn't seem to be a way to successfully save a new value when editing either through the tablet or the companion app.

Please look above about the issue with audio files not containing an artist value in the metadata. That will be resolved with the next update. As far as the tempo, I'll check that, but if you can't edit it on the tablet either in the song editor or by adjusting the metronome tempo, something fairly serious is going on there.

Got it. Thank you!
