Hello folks,
I didn't find an answer regarding my topic in the forum.

I'm actually using MobileSheets on Android
My next tablet will be an iPad.
Sometimes it makes sense to me using MobileSheets as well on my iPhone. 

My question:

If I buy a new license for iPadOS (via MAC App Store) can it be used as well on my iPhone or do I need o buy a separate 3rd license?
And can I use the new iPadOS lic. (bought via MAC) later on a new iPad or do I have to buy just another lic.?

It's not only a matter of cos, but as well a technical question, as the app really is working great and worth the money.

Yes, if you purchase for iPadOS through either the Apple App Store or the Mac App Store, you can also install that on your iPhone (or any other Apple device you have). One thing to keep in mind when working with both app stores is that you could run into an issue where it acts like it's going to charge you a second time. If you proceed with the purchase, it will recognize you've already purchased the app and let you install it without charging you. There is another post on the forum that discussed this if you have any concerns.
