Is it possible to show more columns in the app (Windows and Android)?
#1
Hello,

I've read through the handbook and even tried to find a solution here in the forum via the search function. Could not find anything that matches my problem.
So I try here:

I would like to show more columns in the APP for Windows and Android. For example my Windows (and Android app look like this) (Screehshot1).
Only the title of the song is displayed.

I would like to show 3 more columns with Song ID and type and one of the custom data fields. How can I activate this for Android and Windows?

Thanks for your help and sorry if it has already been answered somewhere. I could not find anything in the search function.

I could not find any option in both apps for Windows and Android to show more columns than just the "title" in the library display.
I would need to see the song ID, type and custom1 datafield in the library view. Is that not possible or am I just to stupid to find the option?

I already tried to find a solution here in the forum, but the search function did not help me with any similar topics. Sorry, if it has already been posted and answered somewhere.

Hi!

Did you try to change "Einstellungen->Bibliotheks-Einstellungen->Formatierung der Songtitel"
(I don't know the English titles for the menu)...

Perhaps that is an alternative for what you want.

Please watch this tutorial video on song title formatting: https://youtu.be/hAUnxQFB8ZI

You just need to modify the title format string so that it includes the other fields you want.

Yes, found that workaround, but it would be easier and much better to read, if you could make the columns visible like you can do for the companion app. (see screenshot)

Same feature is not possible or not wanted in the Main-App?

The MobileSheets app itself does not use a grid and I don't want to use a grid (it doesn't work well for touch input in my opinion). It's much easier to just configure how you want the title displayed with the song title formatting. I also don't believe Google even supports a grid with column headers, probably because they share my view that a grid doesn't make sense on a phone or tablet in most cases.
