With the latest update, it will use whatever the last selection was. That was something I recently fixed, so please make sure you have version 3.9.7.

I have the latest version (I'm on onyx tab ultra) and it still defaults to "Automatic", which is not my last selection and automatic doesn't use the last selection. On onyx tabs, I find monochromatic is almost always the best one, so I would like it to be default. Wouldn't it be better to have a field in the settings where this could be chosen. In this process I have also found a bug. When I am on the image editing page, I change the filter on one page and then I go to change it in another page and it just block when I press the "change filter" button. If I save and go back to the file to change the second page everything works

Alright, I'll check it again but I did test multiple times and it was correctly saving/using the last selected color filter for me.

I just tested this on my S8 Ultra and it worked fine. I selected the camera icon in the song editor to take a picture, took the picture, tap the color filter field, changed the color filter to "Monochrome", then tapped "Done" to take the picture. I deleted the picture, tapped the camera icon again and took a picture. The monochrome filter was applied to the image. So that's working exactly like I would expect.

I do not have a camera on my tablet (I have but it doesn't work ?). So this is happening when I import a pdf that has colors, and so I go to the files tab on the song and then press the three (vertical) dots on the file. Then i press image correction, which automatically applies a filter (I think). But this filter is not the monochromatic one. Toni

It is true that the image correction feature does not save the last selection. That's something I can consider supporting.
