alternativepets - I don't know if you are including MobileSheets in that list of apps, but you can both collapse the annotations toolbar (and it will save that state), or you can enable settings to automatically move MobileSheets below the toolbar and below stage manager if desired.

The TCL NxtPaper 14 
A 14,3 inch screen. 4:3 ratio. A4 format(europe). You can chsnge into a si called E-ink mode. By the way it is not a E-ink device. And a color mode by clicking one button.
It is a android (14) tablet.
Price at the moment around 350-400 euros.
With a pencil and Case 475 euro.

I had a chance to checkout the TCL Nxtpaper 14 today.

It is exactly as tall as my ipad 12.9, but is also about an inch wider. 

The 3 modes are very interesting, and I'd say its the best display of any tablet I've used, eInk or retina, without spending $2000+ on an ipad.

I have recently tried the TCL A4 size tablet. It is a very good size for reading music off and has lots of other functionality. With the 3 display modes it is very good for reading.  However it is no good in daylight as it is a normal backlit screen and not nearly bright enough in sunlight. Fine and dandy If you only play indoors

I just bought the Lenovo P12 tablet, but was disappointed. When I view sheet music on it, the bottom 15% of the screen remains empty. I'd love to find a table with the right aspect ratio for 8-1/2 x 11 inch sheet music!

I also have a Lenovo P12 tablet and I love it for sheet music!  I set Mobile Sheets scaling to fit width and vertical scroll.  It's usually true that the page doesn't take up the whole screen, but the next page shows immediately below it - sometimes you can see the whole top line of the next page, giving you a bit more freedom in timing of page turns.
