What could cause the Capo not showing any more in pro files?
I used to see it, even recently, but not now.
Is correct in the file and display top right is enabled.

There are only a few things to look at:
1) In the Text Display Settings, set the capo to a non-zero value and make sure the eye icon is orange if you want the capo applied when transposing chords
2) Go to the Capo Display Settings, check "Show capo on score" and make sure the capo text and background colors will show up in the way you want on the page.

Thanks for your reply, Mike.
Yes, that works. However, it is set manually. There is no problem doing it this way.
But I thought the {Capo:#} directive in pro files automatically did this.
Some of my older pro files do display the capo and I don't remember putting them there.
It is possible that I did, I guess.
Does this mean the Capo directive is not implemented?

The capo directive is certainly implemented, and upon import will populate the capo field. However, the capo is not applied to transform chords. It is only displayed if the option to display the capo on the screen is enabled. This was based on user feedback and there have been quite a few discussions about this on the forum. The current behavior is what was landed on - the capo is visualized but not applied to chords by default. Users have to manually tap the eye icon if they want the chords transformed by the capo value.

OK, so if I change or add the capo setting in the file from within MS,
I would have to manually transpose it in Text settings. Is this correct?
That is not really a problem since I would already be editing the file at that time anyway.
I am just getting back to using MS after a break of 6 months not playing.

MobileSheets does not parse out changes to the capo field, or other metadata fields if you just edit the ChordPro file. The capo field is only processed when the file is first imported. If you want to change the capo after that, you have to do it through the Text Display Settings dialog. There have been some requests to provide a way to repopulate the metadata from the ChordPro after edits, so that is something I'll probably add at some point.

OK, thanks. I am OK with the way it is working now, now that I know how it works.
