Hi,

is it possible to set the SongID via PDF Metadata? I tryed to name the metadata field:

- SongId
- SongID
- songID

but none of them worked for me.

No, I didn't add support for that, as that field is not just a regular piece of metadata (please see this thread: https://www.zubersoft.com/mobilesheets/f...12844.html). I don't really think I want to support populated that field through PDF metadata. If you are just using that field as extra metadata/information, please use the Custom field for that purpose instead.

thanks for your fast answer. 

May you can explain how the logic works for importing songs and checking if a particular song already exists in the MobilSheets DB. When starting using MobileSheets i stumbled upon an explanation, but i can't find it anymore. May you have some hints for me.

MobileSheets will calculate the desired output path for the file (which depends on your selections under Settings->Storage) and it will just check to see if a file exists at the destination that has the same name as the file being imported. I normally recommend disabling "Create Subdirectory per Song" and leaving "Let MobileSheets Manage my Files" enabled on Android. In that case, MobileSheets will copy any imported file into the root folder of the storage location.
