Mac specific version - ETA?
#1
Just wanted to see if there was an ETA for a Mac specific version? The iOS version works okay but there are some things (like selecting things from the library and editing CHO files) that are a bit rough.
It works, but it's not as smooth as the Windows version. I'd be happy to help beta test.

Please see this post: https://www.zubersoft.com/mobilesheets/f...10156.html

A Mac specific version will not be created and there are no plans for that. It's too much work to try to port everything over to use the MacOS framework, and Mac Catalyst is not an option. If you want improvements made to how the app works on MacOS, just make some feature requests and I'll see what I can do. I need specific details about what isn't working well though. Please be aware that the next update (which is awaiting approval) fixes the handling of things like arrow keys when editing text/ChordPro files in the editor. I don't know what problem you are referring to with "selecting things from the library".

Thanks - I thought that was just for the older Macs.
Selecting things basically have to long press (left click and hold) rather than being able to right click.
Deleting things from a setlist you have to click on the delete symbol then click the delete button that pops up.
I'll take notes. It works pretty darn well - there are just a few things I've noticed that aren't as smooth as Windows.
Appreciate the fast response (as always).

I've been wanting to change the right-click behavior - I'll have to see how difficult that is to do through the iOS framework.

Thanks,

Not sure if this helps, but on my macbook air using an external apple mouse, I can actually slide right->left to expose the DELETE options much like on an ipad.

I have a trackpad and no luck with that.

Version 3.9.13 is available now which added an option for ctrl/shift/alt + scroll to zoom in and out. If you can click and move your pages up and down, then you can now zoom with this update (just hold ctrl, alt or shift before clicking and dragging the page up to zoom in or down to zoom out). I really like how it works, so I'm thinking of adding it to the Windows version.
