Synchronization questions re directories
#1
Hi,

I have never used the sync features of MS yet, but would like to start.
First, I have two Windows laptops that I would like to be synchronized.

First question:
Does syncing copy mp3 songs as well?

Second question:
I have a personal directory structure in MS for my files.
For example, under "MS" which is my main directory for MobileSheets,
I have directories for "Pro" files, "Pdf" files, "Mp3" files, "Mp3BT" (Backtracks), "Jpg" charts, and more..
Many directories also have sub-directories, usually just letters: e.g. "A","B","C"......"Y", "Z" all being sub-directories. Will syncing to another device respect and preserve that directory structure?

Say One song has been added in the "Pro" directory of one laptop,
will syncing put that new file in the "Pro" directory in the other laptop,
or just in the main directory?

Sincerely,
Dan

Yes, the library synchronization does handle mp3 files, although you can control the behavior of how audio files are handled with the audio file dropdown on the sync screen. If you don't want to synchronize audio files, you can disable that.

As far as preserving directory structure, yes, MobileSheets will try to preserve the directories when it can, but you can also use the folder mapping feature to ensure folder paths are mapped between devices in whatever manner you want.

This tutorial video covers some more of that in detail: https://youtu.be/85EzubSZsZ8

Wow, I wasn't even aware there were training videos.
Much thanks, Mike. I will try that and listen to the videos.
