Combining cropped pages into one page to eliminate page turn
#1
Hi,
New user. Loving Mobile Sheets. I am currently running it on a Surface Pro 7, an Android tablet AND a Kindle Fire 10 HD. This question applies to any and all of them.

Currently I am needing to play multiple percussion parts of one piece that are on different parts. To make this easier I imported all the parts into one song, duplicated and cropped pages as needed to weave it altogether. In some cases this has made pages with only one or two lines on it per page turn. Some of those pages have zero measures rest in which I can turn a page. It would be very helpful if I could combine those pages that contain one or two lines into one line, eliminating the need for page turns in between as there is no break in the playing to do so (even with the pedal)

Maybe this is possible but I cannot figure out how to combine the pages. If anyone could help me figure this out that would be great. If it's not possible then I suggest it as a feature request because this comes up a lot for an orchestral percussionist.

Thanks.

Please try the display mode vertical scrolling. It shows the cropped pages "together" as much as possible.

Try switching to the vertical scrolling display mode. To do this, load your score, tap the center of the screen, tap the display mode icon at the bottom (to the left of the page scaling icon with blue arrows) and change the default display mode dropdown to "Vertical Scrolling". Pages will then be stacked vertically, meaning there is no wasted space with really short pages.

EDIT: BRX beat me to it - thanks BRX.

Thank you to both of you for the response. Unfortunately some of the parts are printed horizontal and some vertical ( Strange, I know. ) and even on my Surface Pro 7 I prefer displaying horizontal for size. I did manage to get all of the lines pasted together into one page by exporting as pdf into Adobe Acrobat Pro after cropping and rearranging pages within mobile sheets, then using Acrobat to do the pasting and reimporting it into MSP. But as all of the cropping and rearranging of pages can be done in both Acrobat and Mobile Sheets, but the pasting can only be done in Acrobat (or another app) I thought it would be nice to be able to do it ALL within mobile sheets.

So basically I found a work around, but perhaps for future feature request maybe? ? Heart  BTW I absolutely love this app and I know I haven't even scratched the surface of what it CAN do!

You can use the snipping tool in the annotations editor to cut or copy parts of pages and paste those on other pages.
