Hi Mike,
I've read some old posts about re-ordering layers which was not possible in 2023 - and I've come across this seemingly current limitation - I have created a layer which is now the bottom of the list, but is in fact the top layer, to wipe out different language texts in a Bach score. Unfortunately now I cannot write on top of that. Without being able to reorder layers I'm going to have to redo all the erasing work.
Hindsight is wonderful, but in general it would be a really useful option to move layers. Also, I wonder if you're focused on layer changes at the moment
and if there is likely to be a new layer feature update coming out shortly...
Locking layers is a very important feature to me to make use of layers - most of the time I want to work in a single layer and I've found accidentally the wrong layer has been active and I've added a whole bunch of annotations to the wrong one. Locking layers is a crucial piece of layer functionality IMO.
Cheers
Antony
