In night mode the mark shows up as you move the stylus for the first mark, just like in normal mode. When making a second, or more, mark, it doesn't display until the stylus is lifted off the screen. Another interesting effect is changing the color of the mark does not result in the color selected, ie., select red, color turns out light blue. This happens on the both the p-900 and tf700. The dark theme does not display this effect.

The night mode is merely a negative image - so you are seeing negative colours as well, that's what to expect.
