There's so much beta stuff being posted, I thought I'd try and break the logjam .
Those of us with large tablets (13" and up) will know there is a problem with finding suitable supports for them. Using a stock heavy-duty stand will support a large tablet, but there is still the chance of it getting knocked off, so here is one cheapo solution to consider.
I used a bit of extruded plastic in a square U shape. The internal dimension of the U fit the tablet with a very little to spare. I cut two of these and glued them to the stand with silicon rubber. The tablet simply slides into them. To protect the back of the tablet from scratching, I taped a piece of microfibre cloth, which was lying around, to where the tablet could scrape on the metal stand.
