I would like to propose an enhancement for Batch import:
Restrict the import to date range and/or file pattern.
With this, it would be possible to batch import only the new files of last week or only the files that match "*piano*.pdf".
I know that I can do this by moving the matching files to a new folder and batch import from there, but with this feature, it would be much easier.

This is an excellent idea since many of us are constantly updating our lists. Not certain if MS tracks date modified info. If it does then allowing import of newer song with exact title would be great. Also how about adding some audio import features. Once songs exist pulling in matching audio should be easier than it is. As a long term user I don't need it so much but new users and friends I help do.

How exactly are you suggesting that sub-collections would work based on the current user interface? I'm a little confused about how you would go about selecting a sub-collection for viewing. Please share your ideas on this.
