I'm often given chord charts with capo chords above the original chords, and I highlight them so as not to get them confused with the original chords. It would be great if there was an option to keep highlighter marks horizontal, as swiping across the whole system without worrying about getting the line perfectly horizontal would speed up my workflow quite a bit. Thanks!

You can already do this actually. In the highlight settings window, just change the draw mode from freeform to line or rectangle. See which one you like more.

The rectangle draw option can never be slanted. Are you sure you tried that and not the line draw mode? Or are you saying the page of your song is slanted and so the highlight line may not be at the same angle as the page? I agree that an option could be made available for the highlighter to force it to be horizontal when using the line or freeform mode, but I won't be able to handle slanted pages. If slanted pages are not a problem, you could also experiment with the "Snap to Grid" option (tap the circle at the top left and look at grid settings). The snap to grid should make it much easier to quickly draw a straight line.
I am working on adding a deskew feature at some point, but this will only be available for image files, as I can't replace PDF images without ruining the optimization in the PDF (assuming the image was added with compression). The PDF library I'm using doesn't support adding compressed images (which is apparently difficult even with the best libraries out there).
