When trying to import a file from Google Drive, I get a dialog asking "Allow MobileSheetsPro to access your contacts".
Why does MSPro need my contacts?

That is because in order for me to use the Google Drive API, which requires login capabilities, it requires that I have that permission. It doesn't actually use any information about contacts (that is misleading). It seems to just need that permission for accessing accounts on the device. Other developers/users are confused by it too. Check out this link:

If you dig a little deeper, this explains it: "This is because the GET_ACCOUNTS permission is a member of the CONTACTS group". I have no idea why Google set it up that way.

Stupid, indeed... Thanks for the explanation.
