Any possibility in the future for keyboard shortcuts, esp. for Windows? F-keys for things like 'enter annotation mode', 'save/exit annotation mode', 'start metronome'...?

You can currently handle keyboard shortcuts by using the pedal actions in the settings. This will let you map keys to actions. I may add a separate keyboard mapping screen in the future that lets you add any number of mappings, and is designed for that specific purpose. I don't think it's particularly obvious that you can use the pedal actions for this purpose, so I do see the benefit in having a dedicated screen for key mappings.
