Okay I just found the 2.4.0 update. Now it starts but since I deleted data, I now need to find where my database is...

I think by deleting app data, I shot myself in the foot. I did not have a backup of my MSP database, so I'm screwed. I can reimport my charts, but I'm afraid I've lost my annotations?

Unfortunately, as much as I hate to say it, you probably did lose all of your annotations. They are stored in the database file, so if you didn't back up that file and you didn't create a library backup, they are gone. I'm really sorry that happened. Let me know if I can help in any way.
