Thought this might be of interest to some folks here. I'm actually shocked. StaffPad's developers went silent almost two years ago; there was every reason to think this app was no longer being developed. But it turns out...

Fantastic app mainly for writing music.

But it has many very useful features which could be also implemented into Mobile Sheets in cases where same score is shared on the same local network:

- master/conductor/leader can annotate shared score and annotations are being pushed instantly to connected devices.

- master/conductor/leader can annotate with highlighter and pen in red which are private, and the blue pen is shared instantly to other connected.

- slave/player device has also private and "public" annotation tools which is shown in gray on master device.

- privacy sync is very useful where scores are subject of legality of secrecy. Some publisher/composers/producers may have very strict restrictions on scores and parts. In this sync mode performance materials are never permanently transferred to the players’ devices. They are only
viewable while they are actively connected to the ScoreSync session on the local network.
