I use the method shown in the attached video to realize transposable leadsheets in mobilesheets.
For this, mscz- (for WIN 10) and musicxml-files (for Android) are called via a pdf-link.
Left button for mscz Muescore in WIN 10 and right button for musicxml with Practice Bird in Android.
These files must always be located in the same folder as the calling pdf-file.
Currently mobilesheets can only manage image files (pdf, png, jpg,...) and audio files (midi, mp3,...).
For the shown application it would be very advantageous if additionally arbitrary files like mscz.* and musicxml.* could be managed, i.e. backup & restore and synchronize.

I will need to add an entirely new tab to manage these types of files in the song editor, and modify all of the code for sharing/exporting, library synchronization and backup/restore to include those additional files. It's not a trivial task and it's not something I get many requests for. Due to the level of effort it would require to support it, it's lower on the priority list right now unless I get a lot more requests for it.
I would like to use the smart button option of "Open file in external application" to open a Musescore file from Mobile Sheets.
However, I have the problem of not knowing how to grant permission for Mobile sheets to do this.
See attached screenshot.
If anyone can help me to solve this, please let me know.
Cheers. Kevin
Normally, MobileSheets will save access to the file that was selected with the "Open file in external application" smart button. However, if you uninstall/reinstall, or restore the library on a different device, it won't have permission to access that file. So you can either reselect the file in the smart button, or you can place your files under the MobileSheets storage location (Settings->Storage->Set the MobileSheets Storage Location) so that MobileSheets always has access to them without having to jump through any hoops. Putting the files under the storage location is my recommendation if that will work with your workflow.
Mike, will there (already) be MXML support in the next update (by conversion to ABC)? This probably would reduce the need to use external applications for Musescore or other notation files a bit (and would be platform independant)
As much as I like the Windows MuseScore app, the Android one isn't good and expensive and I haven't checked if there's one for iOS.
