I have a desktop, a Surface Pro 4, and a Surface Pro 7. I often edit stuff on the desktop, and then use the Sync Library function to update the tablets. So, the desktop is the server, and tablets would be the clients. Now, often, I'll start the server on the desktop, and then walk into another room where the tablets are. And they sync just fine in there, but I can't tell if there's progress being made on the client. Sometimes, I might lose the network, or some other problem, and after a while I conclude something must have gone wrong. Could you put some kind of progress indication on the client? Just outputting a period after each song compared on the server, maybe. Something as simple as that so I can tell it's not dead. This is Windows, after all. (Oh, did I say that out loud?)
