This is the privacy policy for MobileSheets, a commercial Android sheet music reader application that allows viewers to build a library of songs containing their own files and view those songs. MobileSheets is provided by Zubersoft and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform website visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use MobileSheets.
If you choose to use MobileSheets, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the MobileSheets. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible through the MobileSheets website unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience, while using MobileSheets, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.
The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Third-party services
MobileSheets provides access to third-party content and cloud storage services (“Services”) so users can upload and download files without leaving our apps. These services require network access to function and may collect one or more types of data through the course of providing their services. We do not communicate any information to them except for authentication purposes and the normal transmission of data you explicitly choose to upload or download. These services are governed by each company's own policies, and each of them is clearly identified by its name and logo within MobileSheets. By using these services you are agreeing to their policies. No personally identifiable information is gathered or stored with any cloud services.
With Google Drive, the user must select which account to use when first accessing the Google Drive integration. After authenticating with Google Drive, this account name and an oauth2 token is saved in order to facilitate a silent login for future access. This information is only stored locally on the device in a private application directory that cannot be accessed externally and is not shared or exported in any manner. No Google user data is collected by MobileSheets. The token will expire automatically over time, but the account name is stored indefinitely. Users can clear this account name and the oauth2 token at any time by going to Settings - Storage - Switch Google Drive Account and canceling the authentication flow, by selecting Settings - Other Settings - Reset Settings to Default to clear all stored settings, or by uninstalling MobileSheets. The connection to Google Drive is handled through the Google API Client Library for Java (https://github.com/googleapis/google-api-java-client) which uses a secure https connection to access Google's servers. MobileSheets does not collect or store any other information about the user while they access Google Drive and will only upload or download files based on user requests and actions. Files that are downloaded from Google Drive will be placed on the local device storage and managed by MobileSheets. Users can delete the files by selecting the songs using them and selecting "Delete" on the library screen. If MobileSheets is uninstalled, the application data is cleared, or the user selects Settings - Other Settings - Clear Library, this will also delete any files downloaded by MobileSheets. Please note that once files are downloaded to the device, depending on the OS version of the device and the storage location selected in MobileSheets, these files may be accessible to other applications. Users should only download non-sensitive files to be used in MobileSheets.
Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use MobileSheets, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through the third party service Crashlytics) on your device called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, application version, the configuration of the app when utilizing MobileSheets, the time and date of your use of MobileSheets, and other statistics. No personally identifiable information is contained in these crash reports - just the information about the device and application state. Crash reporting is disabled by default for EU users, and other users can disable it in the application settings. Zubersoft does not transfer or disclose your information to third parties for purposes other than the ones provided.
Networking
MobileSheets supports connecting over WiFi to the MobileSheetsPro Companion application, which is provided free of charge at www.zubersoft.com/mobilesheets/companion. When the connection is initiated in MobileSheets by the user tapping on the "Sync to PC" option, the IP address of the tablet will be obtained and broadcast on the network along with a device name so the companion application can identify and connect to it. Once the connection completes, data from the library will be transferred to the companion application so the library can be edited through that tool. No other information is sent across the network.
Links to Other Sites
The MobileSheets website may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
The MobileSheets website does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the website may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of the MobileSheets website.
Children's Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
