I installed MobileSheets on my tablet (v3.9.4 on Android 13).

And I struggled with the overlay, which looks completely different to the overlay as shown in the user guides.

E.g. it is missing the icon for the link page.

Now I tried just for a test (not for real usage) to install MobileSheets on my smartphone (Android 12), and, surprise: the overlay looks as in the user manuals, and I can find the link page from it.

Is this a known problem?

Syncing between my 2 android tablets, android phone and windows 11 mobile sheets works well except for the setlists, i didn't try collections and albums but focused on setlists and couldn't get it working. 
i spend about 2 hours and then i gave up.  there were some other similar older requests as well but i couldn't find a solution. it was mentioned that perhaps one device has a newer date then the others and that's why deleted or renamed setlists keep coming back. Please let me know if you like to have an export of my database and where to upload it for further investigation. 
so just to be complete the scenario i am doing is the following:
create a setlist on windows 11 add songs
rename the setlist on an android device
sync windows and android devices
then surprice surprice the new setlist is not showing up on the other devices, it is still on the one device where it was renamed but also the old setlists reapear !!!

Hi everyone

I recently got MobileSheets, and I like it so far, but there are a couple of things I'm confused about.  Could someone help me?


1.  How do you "separate" songs that in a single PDF with multiple songs in it?  I want to see/work with the individual songs, not the whole songbook.  I guess I could split the PDF but checking if there is an easier way.

2.  How does the database work?  When I import a PDF, I have the option to generate .png files (which would help for question #1 I guess).  I see it creates folders for each of the PDFs and then places the PDF there --- but is just the storage; I don't see the database file anywhere (I selected the db storage folder to be one that gets backed up to my NAS server, not the default).

I report strange behavior:
I have a song *.pro with an abc part. Transposing it, runs correctly:
- chords and notes of de abc part are transposed correctly
- chords of de non abc part (chordpro) are transposed correctly
The problem is with double notes, when the song contains double notes.
The mentioned song, when includes double notes in the abc part, do not runs correctly when is transposed. Some keys hide abc part. When shows abc part, double notes can be incorrect.
The syntax for double notes in abc is to use square brackets. I think Mobile Sheets read this square brackets and try transposing it like chords. But I´m not sure.
Maybe you can configure: Mobile Sheets should ignore the square brackets of the abc part.

I face a synchronizaition abort doing synchro between my two google pixel slate tablets.  

- I made a full data backup, reinstalled the app on both devices, loaded the backup on one device and tried to synchronize. The following errors occured:

"File for transmission cannot be created: /data/user/0/com.zubersoft.mobilesheetspro/cache/temp-mobilesheets.db"
"Data base version 0 received, expected is 61. All devices have to use the same version of MobileSheets. Synchronization ist stopped&8230;"

For error #8230 I cannont find that much threads...?

I guess I messed up in creating this pdf (from a Word document).

When I touch a page it links me to the internet.  It connects me to a page called "genuis" that is about the song I am playing. (Depeche Mode Just Can;t Get Enough)

I normally copy chord charts from Ultimate Guitar.  

This time, I think a just copied lyrics from some lyrics site into a Word document (which I then save as a pdf)

Did I inadvertantly copy some code when I was creating the chart? But I don't see anything in the Word document suggesting any links.

Any ideas how to stop this from happening?

Is there an action for a smart button that goes to the next file on a piece with more than one pdf?
Is the link dot the only way to accomplish this?

I’m new here and to mobile sheets so i apologize if this has been covered. But I’m having a difficult time getting the chords to match up over the right lyrics. Now the method I used was a copy and paste straight to MS through text. While in editing mode everything is perfect. Once I save, it shifts all the chords to the left over the wrong words. I tried double spacing lines but it didn’t seem to help. 

Any advice would be appreciated. I’m trying to find an easy way to add songs to MS for my band that won’t take too much time and we can focus on practice. Thanks in advance!

I have created successfully a backup file on my tablet (mobileSheets_date.msb) file with my library of music pieces (126 in total) . However when I restore this file to an other device (smartphone) I am left with only 8 of these 126 music pieces. The 5 playing lists and 3 collection lists are restored. 
If I look to the progress when the backup is running it seems that only these 8 pieces are send to the backup file.

Any idea what can be wrong?
