Hello,
A strange bug happened : one or 2 layers have been added to all my scores, even the ones that didn't have one. Apparently the number of layers added is proportional to the number of existing layers (looks like n-1).
Those added layers appear first in the list. They stole the content of the pre-existing layers!, and the corresponding preexisting layers are now empty (I didn't check that intensively).
So, I think I can correct that easily by suppressing the former layers, and renaming the new ones with the former ones' names. But I have to do it on all my scores (about 100).
Any other idea ?
PS1: I have also this specific case : one layer (called Layer 1) has been added to my 2 former ones, Layer 1 stole the content of my 1st layer, and this 1st layer stole the content of my 2d layer, and that 2d layer is now empty. Seems it's just a circular permutation of the contents, after new layer(s) has(ve) been added, which makes sense.
PS2: Note that the added "Layer 1" is named in English, although I've parametered MS in French, so should be "Calque 1".
PS3: also, some time ago, I've seen that the order of my layers had been scrambled. I tried to use the reordering arrows with no effect (but I've read in another post that this feature is not working).

I am using a Samsung Galaxy S9 Ultra tablet.

Often, when I make annotations an angled line streaks across the page, but I am not creating that line.

When I select the eraser I only need touch the line anywhere and it is instantly deleted, leaving one dot where the line originated or ended (I don't know which).  I can erase the dot, and I'm good to go.

I know this all sounds strange, so I have added a short video.

My suspicion is that my palm touching the screen is doing something to create this, but that is only a guess on my part.

Hello I use mobilesheets only to copy my texts and guitar chords in pdf on my tablet xiaomi pad 6 I put you two images to understand the problem that it is with word or open office the problem is the same my first page appears as I want but the second page is enlarged while on the pc everything is normal my question what to do to have both pages identical? I've redone the pdf several times but nothing works and it's impossible to modify the second page in mobilesheets.

When I'm annotating with my S Pen, and I click the S Pen button, it switches me to the eraser tool but only for exactly 1 click / erase action. Once I've clicked to erase once, it switches back to the writing tool (or whatever I was using previously). 

Is it possible to change this behavior so that clicking the pen toggles me into eraser mode, and doesn't switch back until I click again? If not this would be a nice setting :-)

Hi everyone,

I apparently made a huge mistake while trying to backup my sheet music database ...

1. I went to the option "Synchronise library"
   
2. Then third option : Synchronise to a backup folder (or something similar, it's the french version)
   
3. I selected my old backup file (thinking that would update / replace the files)
   
4. Clicked on "Start"
   
5. I then saw a bunch of "delete" actions ... which gave me a panic attack !
   
6. When I browse my device, I am now missing ALL sheets that had been added since my last backup (June 2023) !!!
   

Android 10. Loaded mobilesheetspro last year and is working great.
Backed up all files to SD card and now i can only access files if card is in. With card out I get file doesn't exist message. Read a few posts and can't figure out how change settings.

Hi all, I have MobileSheets-Pro on an Onyx Book and have not used it for some months.
After update I find MobileSheets no longer displays any menu's. They are there, however, they just blend with the background (this device has a monochrome screen).
Is this as expected?

yes, I admit, a very strange combination using a

- 17'' Thinkpad (Windows)
- LDPlayer (Android emulator)
- MobileSheets Trial Android

but the reason is ... we are trying to find out whether MobileSheets
ist a solution for my wife how has a macula defect and can't see (or only
partially) the notes of spreadshets.

Therefore, first we will test with "what we have" before buying any new hard- or software.

As there is no Windows trial version of MobileSheets I downloaded the Android version
which runs in the LDPlayer emulator on my Laptop with a 17'' (!) display.

So far so good but ... but at the moment I'm not really convinced ... especially with
the page turning and scrolling (using external control devices).

One thing I can't say: Is this a "problem" of the trial version - or,
is it a problem of the combination with the emulator?

a) I don't succeed in getting a connection with a bluetooth device (e.g. selfie LE switch etc.)
Seems to be a problem with the LDPlayer. The Notebook pairs and receives signals.

b) MobileSheets receives 2,4 GHz signals (remote transmitter, USB receiver) from e.g. a wireless keyboard.
MobileSheets acts as it should do using the PLeft, PDown, PUp, PRight buttons, turning or scrolling the sheets,
but does not interpret properly the left/right buttons of the touchpad. The pages are moving always foreward.

And here is the my/my wifes wish. She needs just a "simple and big and reliable" 4-button block (to use with the hand)
with a 2,4 Ghz signal (because bluetooth does not work, e.g. Airturn page turners are all bluetooth).
Until now I could not find something ideal. A wireless numeric key block is to complicated.

Any suggestions - or other ideas?

I use Mobile Sheets on a Samsung Galaxy tablet with a Bluetooth Page Turner. It connects by USB to a Korg PA4X keyboard to which it sends song change information over MIDI channel 16. This has worked very well since acquiring this system is November.

Until recently I have received the message ‘Korg PA4X Connected’ on start up but, recently this has changed to ‘Allow Mobile Sheets to Access Korg PA4X?’. (Perhaps there has been a software update.)

If I press OK’ for this then there isn’t a problem but if I miss the message without agreeing to the connection then I am unable to get it back and have to resort to changing the keyboard ‘songs’ manually.

Please, Is there a way of either:
·        Permanently permitting the connection?
Or
·        Being able to repeat the prompt so that I can agree to it?

Update - On further thought, this may not be an issue with the MS App but with the Samsung system. I updated the Android software on 19th March and this is about the time that the problem started - Al

I'm using a Galaxy S8+ with the pen to annotate my scores. I think the intended behaviour is that any time the pen touches the screen, it should start annotating with the active tool, but I have two cases where that doesn't happen.

In the first case, if I'm in view mode and touch the screen with the pen, MS switches to annotate mode as soon as the pen is close enough to bring up the cursor, then starts drawing when the pen touches the screen (as I expect). However, if my palm is touching the screen when I bring the pen close, the cursor appears, but MS doesn't go into annotate mode. When the pen finally touches the screen, it goes to annotate mode, but doesn't draw anything on the first stroke.

In the second case, I'm already in annotate mode. If I haven't touched the screen in a while (seems to be around 30 seconds), then start by placing my palm before touching the screen with the pen, the first stroke sometimes doesn't draw anything. It's not every time, but probably 70%. And if I don't place my palm, the first stroke always draws correctly.
