  How many devices

Hi, Can I use Mobile Sheets on more than one device ? 
I'm completely new to Mobile Sheets, I watched a video about photographing a page of music using the camera on my tablet and thought this would be great.... 
However trying to hold a 14in tablet over a book that wants to bend and close itself is a real pain, it got me wondering if I can use Mobile Sheets on more than one device.....  if I can set it up on my phone to take the photo's then transfer over to the tablet.


  CME Widi Master not detected

Issues with detection of CME Widi Master. MSpro can't find the device. Sometimes it works after 20 - 30 minutes, most of the times does not. If it finally works it is stable. But when I start the app again next time the problem exists again. Not usable in live situation.
I use Widi Master to connect MSpro to Beatbuddy in order to sync time clock and drum pattern. Thank you! 
With my ipad everything works fine. So I'm sure there's something wrong with the android version.

Is there a way to stop my Palm or my fingers from annotating on the screen when using my Samsung Galaxy S9?  It's almost impossible to not rest your Palm on the devices screen when traying to annotate the music. When my Pen is enabled, I just want that to add notes, not my Palm or fingers that are touching the screen.

Guten Tag, 
ich bin ein neuer User, spiele Trompete und bin in Sachen MobileSheets ein absoluter Anfänger. Mir gelingt es nicht, mein Tablet (Galaxy Tab S9 FE+) mit meinem Windows 10 PC zu verbinden, um erstmalig pdfs aufs Tablet zu laden
Der PC ist über Netzwerkkabel mit einer Fritzbox verbunden, das Tablet via WLAN.
Was ich schon versucht habe:
- in Windows Defender Firewall ist Kommunikation mit Mobilesheets Companion explizit erlaubt
- ich habe die IP Adresse des Tablets in Companion eingegeben
Nichts rührt sich, nach einigen Minuten kommt eine Fehlermeldung.

Falls es zu dem Thema schon Antworten gibt, reicht mir ein Verweis darauf. Gern auch Englisch.

  App exits without warning

This has happened to me twice now (weeks/months apart). I was using the application as normal and it suddenly exited without warning. I was unable to restart the app by tapping its icon for about 1-2 minutes. Each time when I did restart the app, an update was available and I applied it. I don't know what versions crashed, but now it's 3.9.11. The device is a Boox TabX v2024-09-11_14-58_3.5 / Android 11 patch 2024-02-01.

I really like the app, but I can't trust it for performances if it just quits and can't be immediately restarted.

Does anybody know what's causing that issue, and more importantly, how to avoid it?


  backing track forces app to close

This was weird. I added a new backing track mp3 there other day, had a txt file and linked them. Hit play, track starts and poof, app closes. Tried it a couple times, played a different amount each time and booted me out of the app. I recreated the txt file thinking that was the issue. No change. So I ran teh mp3 through MP3 gain and saw it was clipping, so fixed that. then it seemed to work. Today I created a pdf of the sheet music, attached the mp3 to that, and it booted me again, several times.   

Any ideas?  I have never had that happen with any other files.


  V3.9.16 problems with the display

Hello, with the new version 3.9.16 there are unfortunately problems with the display again. I use an Android tablet and a mobile phone. 1. With my Android mobile phone, not all chords are recognized as chords. On the tablet, they are recognized. 2. Parts of the song are "swallowed" on both devices. Only when you scroll forwards and backwards in the MS is the entire content "updated" and correctly displayed. I have attached screenshots from my mobile phone and the tablet

  Issue with Syncing MobileSheets Across Devices

I’m new to MobileSheets, and I’ve been really enjoying using it to organize my sheet music. However, I’m running into an issue when trying to sync my library across multiple devices. I’ve searched through the forum but haven’t found a solution that works for me yet.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

  • I’m using MobileSheets Pro on both my Android tablet and my Android phone.
  • I’ve set up cloud sync between both devices using my Dropbox account.
  • Everything seems to sync fine, except for some annotations (like highlights and notes) that aren’t appearing on my second device.
  • I’ve ensured that sync settings are enabled, and I’ve tried to manually sync both devices, but the problem persists.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue, or does anyone know if there’s a specific setting I might have missed? I want to be sure that all my annotations and other changes sync properly across both devices.


  Multiple crashes today

Hello,

I wanna start off by saying I really like your software, I've been using it for some time now both for practice and live performance purposes!

Today, something weird started happening, which has never happened in the past.

Whenever I tried turning on the metronome within a piece, the app would crash, but then it stopped happening on its own. Then, some time after, the app crashed randomly while turning a page. I've never experienced a single crash in the past, so I'd appreciate some insight into what might be happening.

My device is a Samsung S8 ultra and I have crash reports enabled. The crashes happened somewhere between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. today (Indiana time), and then sometime in the evening, if I recall correctly.

V 3.9.14

Had the update notice when I opened MS today. After a while after an hour, so say 10 songs, mainly going in and out of random songs in the collection list, the screen became unresponsive and I got a Wait or Close. I tried waiting, and then I got another Waiting. I killed it. The App remained a bit sticky, reluctant to respond to screen presses. One specific action was accidentally starting the metronome hitting the bottom of the screen and it froze and had to be killed. On restarting the app it still was reluctant to interact - I could use my footswitch (dodgy swipe emulator) but not my finger as a tap. I could not get the menu border to disappear with a centre press.

I have since restarted the tablet after my session, (for the first time in maybe a couple of months) and it isn't playing up at the moment.

So just noting it in case other people have a glitch. I am suspicious of the update as I've never had it go wrong on me before over very long sessions. Nothing else running as far as I was aware.
